The Boat

Majestic is a 1999 St. Francis 44 MkII catamaran. She was built in Port St. Francis, South Africa and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean by her first owners to Brazil. There she spent 5 years cruising the waters of South America and the Caribbean before being put up for sale and coming home with us. We took ownership of her just 10 days before Zach was born. Previously Doug and I lived aboard and cruised on a PDQ 36 catamaran for 6 years.

(This layout diagram is from the St. Francis web page. Ours is configured just a little different as we have torn out the port aft head to create a wet locker/ laundry area. And we turned the port aft cabin into a work shop/ pantry.)

Have a look around. She is a work in progress as all boats are. And she is evolving as our family grows and our plans play out. But you get the rough idea. Feel free to ask any questions about the boat, I'll be happy to answer.
